Working with ceremonial cacao, yoga, crystal sound alchemy, creativity, embodiment and ritual we open the heart, welcome union within & embody the balanced energy of the Autumn Equinox. With equal hours of daylight and darkness equinox is a beautiful point in the year to reflect on intentions set earlier in the year and set clear intentions for the coming cycle.
Giving thanks for our harvest, we re align and re tune our systems to the rhythm of nature, learning about these cycles and how we can create sustainable, grounded wellbeing practices to support and embody fully our highest potentials & timelines going forward into the darker months ahead. We become vibration allys to all around us. We leave feeling, relaxed, refreshed, nourished, grounded fully and deeply in tune with our hearts perception.
Sacred Cacao Ceremonies
The chemical constituents, the beans from Theobroma Cacao appear to be the most pharmacologically complex food in nature. Yes Chocolate is in fact good for us!! Cacao has been used for millennia as a food and ceremonially by the ancient Meso-americans in conjunction with other plants and rituals. When we consume cacao prepared for ceremony using intention, high quality raw cacao beans, all the mood enhancing neurochemicals in cacao become particularly active.
There is increased blood flow and nutrition to the brain, heart and skin, the whole body is nourished, awareness and focus is heightened and sensations are intensified. The context of the ceremony is a safe and beautiful space that supports meditation (reflection and connection to the “larger aspects of yourself”).
This creates a rare opportunity to explore and sit with the stories of the heart and to identify areas that are causing you restriction, limitation and pain to enable unification and balance within and therefore without.
The morning practice will have a slow and gentle flow. We will move through some somatic explorations and rhythmic asanas and movements to wake up our bodies and minds in the best possible way. In the afternoons, yin yoga will be our focus and the stillness our guide throughout the practice. The poses will be hold for a longer time, in order to stimulate and gently awake it’s natural flow. The yoga is suitable for all levels.
Crystal Sound Alchemy immersions
Working with 432hz tuned Quartz crystal singing bowls we work at a cellular level. “The combination of Cacao, movement and Crystal Sound creates a wonderfully deep experience of self. We connect to our source tone, our home note and deep peace. If you struggle with shutting of the mind chatter the crystal tones can help achieve the benefits
of deep meditation without consciously having to quiet the noise. The body begins to teach the mind and responds to the pure crystal tones beautifully.
Quartz crystal has many amazing properties. They amplify, transform, store, focus, and transmute energy. Cymatics shows us that certain frequencies create beautiful geometric shapes in the water molecules of the body allowing the body and psyche to come into balance and a natural state for healing. Our bodies are also crystalline in structure, we reach deep levels of resonance creating balanced harmonics. When working with the heart, intention, ceremonial cacao,
movement & the crystal singing bowls we add an additional layer
of relaxation, deepening meditation and relaxation with great effect.
The more in tune we become with natural cycles the more aligned we feel in our own. Through balanced, grounded practices we allow for our greater visions to grow by becoming quiet, connecting to our deep body wisdom, nature connection and listening to what is trying to emerge from within us
We connect deeply with nature, to each other, to ourselves, we balance on all levels of the being, we relax fully, we reflect, we retune our whole system, we create magic, we move our body, we release all no longer serving, we purify in the beautiful sauna, swim wild in the lake, we retreat and we celebrate all we are. We hope you can join us!

MORE at Shambala
“Ever since the conclusion of my yoga teacher training at Yandara a little over two months ago, I’ve been searching for ways to describe the profoundly moving beauty and genuineness of the course and of the people conducting it. I left enriched with such an abundance of life transforming experiences and powerful practical skills that truly even the most gifted of poets would be lost for words to express. However, despite not knowing what to say, my endless gratitude towards the teachers together with an innermost desire for more people to find out about this exceptional school is making it impossible for me to not constantly talk about it”.
