Mandala yoga is a breathing space in everyday life for me, the yoga at Mandala gives me the tools to get the balanced and to “find” myself.

INTRODUCTION

In our busy lives stress is a daily companion. The relaxation and contemplation workshop aids in finding stillness in a quiet space to connect deeply with our minds, bodies, spirits and nature. Contemplative practices invite us in to a deeper relationship with ourselves. This retreat is for those looking for some quiet time in the serenity of nature. In the nature around Borntorpet there is lake where you can swim, with magnificent scenery for walking and close to the calm and serenity.

In this work-shop we will be doing hathayoga as well as yinyoga, restorative yoga and meditation.  The weekend is for those that have done some yoga before, even if you not been practicing with us.

DAILY SCHEDULE

FRIDAY

3pm Getting your room and getting settle

4-6pm: Meditation, Yinyoga / Restorative yoga 

7pm: Dinner 

After dinner: Sauna, swim, rest, read – all at your leisure! 

SATURDAY

7am-9am: Meditation, theme for the day and asana practice 

9am: Breakfast

Until lunch: Relax, swim, walk, explore, rest – at your leisure 

1.30pm: Lunch

4-6pm: Meditation, Yinyoga / Restorative yoga 

7pm: Dinner 

After dinner: Sauna, swim, rest, read – all at your leisure! 

SUNDAY

7am-9am: Meditation, theme for the day and asana practice 

9am: Breakfast

11am-1pm: Meditation, asana practice andclosure of the weekend with time for questions

1.30pm: Lunch

           3pm: Back home

Annelie Fridman

My yoga teaching is a mix of what I have learned from different philosophies, schools and styles. I hope to inspire everyone who crosses my path to use yoga as a tool in their lives as I have been able to do during my 20 years with it. It is a unique journey for each of us. The trip gives us opportunities to grow, it has it´s low tide and it´s highlights, it´s possibilities and it´s resistance, it´s clarity and confusion … but it´s all part of our own particular journey. Enjoy it!

Without my teachers, I had never reached that point where I am today and I am very grateful to them. I will continue to constantly seek new knowledge, I will develop and I will learn new things. It is my hope that I can help you discover what yoga and meditation can mean for you as a practice and what effects it can give you in your life, just as my teachers gave the opportunity for me to experience.

The cost for this weekend retreat is:

Cost includes 2 nights of accommodation, all food, transfer to and from train station at Skinnskatteberg (5 mins away).
