Come and slow down with us in this winter weekend of stillness and gentle movement in the middle of nature.
The yoga classes will be gentle with one or two exceptions. We are moving with the pace of nature, creating space for recovery and introspection. When the body comes to rest, the mind calms down. And when the mind calms down, we can get in touch with our essence, our being and our truth.
The food will be vegetarian and made by Amy. She is a gastronomic wizard who creates flavours that will make you body and being dance.

TO BRING
Bring beautiful clothes, warm socks towel and bedding. Possibly there is also the
possibility of a sauna and a bath for those who want it. We usually clean up a wake if the ice is lying.
There are yoga mats in place but of course it is good to bring your own. You may want to include a writing book but turn off all other electronic equipment or leave it at home. food requirements The food served is vegetarian and cooked by our very best Amy – with love and bite. Report allergies or other food requests in connection with the notification.

Lena Järpsten
Lena has a background in exercise, body therapy and yoga. She is a Yoga Alliance Certified and has for over a decade spent long periods in India to immerse herself in yoga, meditation and dance. Lena has worked with various forms of training and group training for 25 years. Lena is therapeutically trained at Osho International Meditation Resort with a focus on holistic body therapy, relationship dynamics, mindfulness and meditation. She is particularly fascinated by the body. Through yoga, it becomes a king’s path to higher levels of consciousness and a simpler way of life.

Located just two hours away from Stockholm in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden, the area is easily accessible by air, train and car, making a great option for a short break wildlife destination.
- Coming by air: The nearest airport to Shambala is Stockholm Vasteras. The second nearest airport is Arlanda airport, the main airport in Sweden. You can easily take a train all the way to Skinnskatteberg from both of them.
- Coming by train / bus: We are fortunate to have a train / bus station at Skinnskatteberg only 5 minutes ride from the center. We offer free pick up services from this station in summer.
