We find that sharing the work with other men, learning to rest in the presence of others, helps us to find more genuine qualities. We find more authenticity through this experience.
 
We co-create a space so that you forget about time and can relax into timelessness, liberating ourselves from distractions from everyday life. A possibility to rejuvenate physically and mentally. At the same time inviting challenges, to tap into a deeper source of stability and strength. We hold, support and challenge each other to enable more authenticity in living our true self.
 
The weekend is spent at Shambala Gatherings, a beautiful retreat center 2 hrs west of Stockholm. Surrounded by nature, the lake and the heat of the sauna, we are close to the elements and the sensations in the body. In supportive community with other men we explore different sides of ourselves, some known, some unknown.

KLAS LANDAHL

Klas Landahl is a full-time teacher of Kundalini yoga and meditation at Stockholm Kundaliniyoga Center. He has studied personal development, leadership and self-empowerment with many different teachers for many years. He shares this knowledge through workshops, courses and the one-year Kundaliniyoga Teacher Training he is running with his wife Annki. Klas is also a passionate runner and athlete, always open for new ways to strengthen and challenge the body into better health and capacity, running long distance races and obstacle course races. He has worked with Yoga For Men for many years.

Mateuz Krawiec

Mateuz Krawiec is a Sound & Movement Artist, Yoga Teacher and founder of Yoga Village Festival. He is teaching in the Urban Om Yoga Teacher Training and holds Relaxation Gong Concerts in Stockholm. In his work he is looking for ways to create Union of Body, Mind & Awareness. His inclusive approach in the space he holds allows for people to explore many different ways to come into a meditative state. His background in Yoga and Soundhealing as well as experience with dance, physical theatre, internal martial arts and movement practices open up a broad landscape of possibilities for the participants. “I graduated in law yet helping people to raise consciousness in organic ways became my purpose.” His varied background opens up a broad landscape of possibilities for the participants.

Located just two hours away from Stockholm in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden, the area is easily accessible by air, train and car, making a great option for a short break wildlife destination.

  • Coming by air: The nearest airport to Shambala is Stockholm Vasteras. The second nearest airport is Arlanda airport, the main airport in Sweden. You can easily take a train all the way to Skinnskatteberg from both of them.
  • Coming by train / bus: We are fortunate to have a train / bus station at Skinnskatteberg only 5 minutes ride from the center. We offer free pick up services from this station in summer.
  • Coming by car: Simply open this Google map on your navigator and follow directions to Borntorpet 1 in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden.
