Explore the connection between your physical body and subtle energy through specialty Yin yoga workshops with Acupressure and Myofascial release, attune to the language of your heart’s longing in yoga nidra and meditation. This retreat is weaved with a yoga therapeutic approach that invites our experiences to be less about performance and more about a non-judgmental exploration as we open to receiving valuable information through the conversation with the body.
When you offer time and space to marinate in your own beingness, and you open your inner ears to listen to the ancient wisdom that speaks from within.. a door opens for a truer connection to ourselves and other beings – to Nature and beyond.
If you are curious to explore different layers of yourself in a space where all of you are welcome and want to rest in the sweetness of Yin and Restorative yoga, this retreat is for you. No experience is required to join but it helps if you are familiar with yoga.

TEACHER’S BIO
Anna Viktoria Åkerlund
Anna’s passion is to create spaces where you can meet yourself exactly as you are. Her journey started over two decades ago when she got swept away by the world of meditation. After working in Business and experiencing severe burn out, she went deeper into Yoga and the practice of Asana as a therapeutic tool for healing. Anna considers herself an eternal student and since 2014, she has been facilitating yoga in studios, retreats and teacher trainings internationally. She is an educated IAYT Yoga Therapist and trained in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Medical Yoga, Akhanda Yoga, Authentic flow, AcuYin and Yoga Nidra.
Nervous system science, subtle energy, somatics and yogic philosophy inspires her teachings. With deep humbleness to be with you in the yoga space, her intention is for you to understand and connect with your intrinsic wholeness.

- Coming by air: The nearest airport to Shambala is Stockholm Vasteras. The second nearest airport is Arlanda airport, the main airport in Sweden. You can easily take a train all the way to Skinnskatteberg from both of them.
- Coming by train / bus: We are fortunate to have a train / bus station at Skinnskatteberg only 5 minutes ride from the center. We offer free pick up services from this station in summer.
