30 August – 1 September, 2026
A sensual surrender to land in your feminine body, where softness, pleasure, and a regulated nervous system bring you home to yourself.
A RETREAT FOR YOU
It’s time to hop off the hamster wheel of pressure to perform and lean into what your feminine body truly loves: to be and feel.
It’s time to understand what’s holding you back from living in harmony with your feminine body, so that she can be the leading force in your life.
Your feminine body is a being who blooms open when you let go of performing and living in doing mode. Instead, you’re guided to surrender and be present with your body.
When you’re allowed to go slow and soft while regulating your nervous system, physical and emotional tensions will release, and you begin to feel safe inside your body.
Inner safety and embodied presence is the portal to meet a deeper part of yourself, and awaken an intimate relationship with your feminine self.
Your breath deepens, your jaw softens, and you become more present in your body. That’s when you can meet the sensations and feelings that are simmering under the surface, making you feel disconnected from your feminine self.
This retreat is an invitation to melt into your feminine current, where deep wisdom and homecoming await.
You’ll be guided through practices that regulate your nervous system and bring you into deep embodied presence — where your body begins to speak, and your sensual nature guides you into the pleasure of simply being present to what’s happening inside you.
Somatic movement classes will fill these days — where you slow down and learn to feel the feminine current moving in you.
Ideal if you’re new to my work and want a soft start, or if you’re longing for a few days away from your busy life, to simply be with your own being and awaken the feminine current living inside your body.
These days together will be a meditative journey of stepping into your soft, slow and receptive feminine nature.

YOUR GUIDE
Jenny Janaki creates transformative spaces where women step fully into their bodies — into presence, power, and the intelligence alive within them. These are spaces of deep somatic attunement and inner safety, where the body speaks, and the feminine wisdom is felt, remembered, and embodied.
She questions the ways we’ve been taught to “be women,” and guide women into an embodied relationship with patterns that hold them back, helping them release what is not their authentic self and step into sovereign, empowered embodiment.
She is a Somatic Educator and Womb Keeper, leading Rooted Body Facilitator Training, online courses, and in-person retreats. Jenny’s work weaves feminine sensual somatics, womb awakening, craniosacral therapy, and nervous system regulation, grounded in the non-dual wisdom of Advaita Vedanta.

GUEST EXPERIENCES

“Being guided by Jenny is unlike anything that shouts for attention or performance. She meets you with a sensitivity so attuned that you feel safe enough to soften, to let your own defenses dissolve.
She has a rare ability to guide you into the subtle textures of sensation, the undercurrents of emotion, the quiet pulse of energy that is already alive within. With her presence, the journey inward feels less like effort and more like an unfolding, an invitation to discover what has been waiting for you all along.”

“If you haven’t met Jenny yet, you truly have something very beautiful to look forward to. She is so tender, deeply intuitive and has a way of truly seeing the person in front of her. Her presence is soft and wise, grounded and gentle. For me being guided by Jenny feels like blissfully returning home, inside. She is such a rare gift to this world.”
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The journey from Arlanda to Shambala (Skinnskatteberg Station) takes around 3 hours and is quite straightforward. You can search for and purchase tickets at www.sj.se.
Please note that the full train schedule is usually available only 2–3 weeks before your intended travel date, so there’s no need to book earlier than that. There are several route options.
As there are no direct trains, you’ll need to take a combination of trains and/or buses. Once you arrive at Skinnskatteberg Station, we’ll pick you up — it’s just a 7-minute drive to Shambala.
Comfortable yoga clothing, a warm layer for the evenings, earplugs and an eye mask for the bright summer mornings, sturdy shoes for forest walks, and a journal if you enjoy writing. Yoga mats and props are provided. Swimwear for the sauna is optional. We’ll send a full packing list after booking.
Our kitchen is designed to avoid the most common allergens. That said, please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or specific dietary needs, and we’ll take them into account when planning the menu.
For guests with multiple allergies, we offer a simple daily meal option of steamed vegetables and boiled rice.
While we aim to keep our kitchen as gluten-free as possible, trace amounts of gluten may still be present. Our meals are generally suitable for those with gluten intolerance, but we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination for guests with celiac disease.
At Shambala, beyond being a retreat space, we cultivate a way of living deeply rooted in the yogic values of simplicity, presence, non-attachment, contentment, and communion with nature. Rather than luxury, what we offer is intimacy and a sense of belonging. Therefore, our accommodations are simple and mostly shared, with a variety of twin rooms, triple rooms, and glamping tents.
The guiding ethos is one of community and sustainability, creating a vibe that is understated, modest, welcoming, and easy. If you do feel a strong need for a single room, you can write to us. A single room may be available for an additional fee.
All accommodation options have access to shared showers and bathrooms.
We love children and would truly love to be able to host parents with young kids.
However, we’ve found that having young children on site can make it challenging to maintain the peaceful retreat atmosphere that many of our guests seek and deeply value.
For this reason, unless otherwise agreed, our retreats are intended for adults and youth aged 12 and above.
We love animals, but as some guests have allergies, we’re unable to allow animals inside the buildings. For this reason, we kindly discourage guests from bringing their pets.
Bed linen and towels are included with your booking.
Want to support the environment? Bring your own sheets (single sheet, duvet cover, two pillow cases) and two towels and save 200 SEK — use code ECOLAUNDRY at checkout.
We kindly ask all guests to arrange a travel insurance before booking a retreat with us. As a small retreat centre, we are unfortunately unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy, even in cases of illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance helps protect you should your plans need to change unexpectedly.
If you are registering for this retreat directly with the teacher organizing it, please note that the teacher’s cancellation policy will apply, not Shambala’s. In that case, please ask your teacher directly about their cancellation policy.
The retreat price does not include travel insurance. We kindly ask all participants to ensure they have valid travel insurance before booking the retreat.
