This most joyful state of being lies within as all, and it can be unlocked. The practice of kirtan and dancing, helps us to move energy, release blockages and connect with our inner selves as well as our higher purpose. When we sing, and move together, we’re connecting with the universal rhythms and frequencies of love.
The practice of kirtan is based on chanting mantras, and in order to fully connect with this practice and understand it, you will during this retreat dive deeper into the meanings of mantras and learn more about how you can practice kirtan alone and with your loved ones.
Chanting and dancing is an ancient practice, in every corner of the world. The form of kirtan you will be introduced to during this retreat, is the Indian tradition based on mantras in sanskrit, and Vijay Krsna will share the stories behind them and his experiences from choosing the life of devotion.
Irini Dougias Andersson will share morning classes in yoga and dancing, and together with her partner Adam Lund Correa sharing their love and passion for Ecstatic Dance.
In order to digest and take in all the beauty and depth of these practices, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy the sauna, the forest, and taking dips in the lake. The food is deeply nourishing and every meal at Shambala is a celebration!
We invite you to this magical weekend, surrounded by nature in a safe, quiet environment.
If you’re longing for community, deeper connection with yourself and others, take this opportunity to nurture yourself in all aspects of your being.
“This is where the magic happens – together, with open hearts in beautiful nature.”
