MORE INFORMATION

We’ll begin the retreat on Thursday evening, so please arrive in time to settle before our first yoga practice at 5pm, this will be a grounding flow to arrive in the space together. We will then have a hearty dinner and early night!

The next two days will follow the same structure, with a solar more energetic yoga practice in the morning and a calming, restorative practice in the evening lead by Annie. All of Annie’s classes are accessible and spacious so everyone in the room can take the class at their own pace and are given plenty of time and room to get what they need from them.

Robert will be holding space in the afternoon for a magic hour of learning and exploring our energy bodies, tapping into intuition, intention and personal investigation. The sessions will explore the energy centres, also known as chakras, within the body and will focus on the water and fire centres this weekend. There will be space for exploration and reflection as well as pragmatic practices for rebalance and personal growth.

There will be plenty of free time in between sessions for resting, exploring the forest, sauna and cold lake dips, naps, reading and whatever else people need.
On Sunday, we’ll have one final practice together, followed by breakfast, then we will head back into the world, reset and restored.

“Pure bliss! Annie’s yoga retreat was the perfect way for me to destress, and recharge my mind and body from London life. She made me feel welcome from the second I arrived, with a big warm hug (always on supply during the week)! As a new yogi, Annie was a great teacher on and off the mat. Highlight of the retreat were the evening meal discussions with my new yogi friends, whilst having delicious, homemade vegetarian meals. Can’t wait for my next retreat with Annie”

“Retreating with Annie is the first holiday where I’ve properly relaxed. Waking up to the warm air and fresh fruit, a nice vinyasa followed by Annie’s signature muesli – it’s a pretty nice start to the day. Some good chat and guitaring as the sun rose and baked us into little snoozes in hammocks or on the grass, then waking up to lunch which is even better than breakfast. More of the same, a more chilled yoga sesh in the eve and more amazing food. Basically, Annie’s food is amazing, her yoga is very fun and relaxing, and the crowd and setting is bound to be good too. Rinse and repeat – after a couple of days you don’t know what time it is or what day it is and you are pretty relaxed. Would recommend (unless you’re a bit of a knob).”

“Annie May Rice is a rare yoga teaching talent.

A beautiful, gentle soul who knows that yoga, taught well and practiced with authenticity, is a moving meditation. One breath and one movement in harmony, brought together to achieve focus, concentration and peace. Annie’s Yoga classes are about self-discovery, kindness and generosity, truth and connection with others in class and in the world. It’s categorically not an athletic competition!

If you take a class with Annie expect to sweat, but with a fire and heat createdbecause you move precisely and gently through correct asana (poses), guided by yogic breathing techniques.

Annie speaks gently, plays superb tunes to match practice and mood, and rewards you with a blissful Savasana.

If you see Annie’s name on the schedule don’t miss the class. It’s just a lovely experience.”
