A pilgrimage where sensuality becomes prayer and presence is home.
This retreat is for women and vulva owners.
THE CALL OF EROS
Before the world divided love into categories, humanity lived in the wisdom of Eros: the life-force of love itself.
Eros was never about performance or act; it was about feeling.
It was love made tangible through the senses, through presence, through the body as temple.
To answer the Call of Eros is to remember this ancient intelligence, the knowing that love, sensuality, and spirit are not separate.
It is to return to your natural state of feeling, sensing, and being fully alive, fully awake, fully here.
Amidst the stillness of the Swedish forest, embraced by lakes, trees, and silence, we gather for a sacred remembrance.
This retreat is an invitation for women and vulva-bodied beings to return home to their essence to reclaim the erotic as the intelligence of life itself.
Here, we explore Eros not as an act, but as an essence
the pulse of life that moves through our senses, breath, and heart.
Through embodied practice, sacred movement, ritual, and energy work,
we return to the simplicity of feeling:
to sense, to listen, to let spirit breathe through form.
This is a journey of erotic remembrance, where sensuality becomes the bridge between spirit and matter
and where the feminine learns again to feel her own energy as sacred power.
It is not about performance, nor about liberation as society defines it.
It is about true liberation: the freedom that arises when we learn to be with our energy, to move with awareness,
and to reclaim the original wholeness that lives beneath shame and conditioning: that is not within us, but is us.
We are that wholeness itself: limitless existence, the unbroken essence of being.
Eros is the remembrance of that.
Here, sensuality becomes prayer.
Eros becomes the language of the soul.
And liberation becomes the remembrance of your natural, embodied aliveness.

THE ESSENCE
Just as plant medicine guides us through purification before renewal, Eros reveals itself as a profound medicine.
One that moves through pain, numbness, and suppression to bring us home to joy, aliveness, and connection.
Through ritual, embodiment, and remembrance, we return to our natural wholeness, where Eros becomes a path of devotion, creativity, and freedom.
WHO THIS RETREAT IS FOR
This retreat is for women and vulva-bodied beings who feel the subtle call to return to essence who sense that healing does not mean fixing, but remembering. It is for those longing to live Eros as presence, to feel safe in their sensuality, to know themselves beyond story and identity, and to awaken the quiet power that flows through all life. This journey welcomes:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT PART OF THE MUSE OR WHO HAVE NOT PARTICIPATED IN A PREVIOUS DEVI SCHOOL SACRED SEXUALITY RETREAT
Before you proceed with your booking, please complete the questionnaire first. After reviewing your responses, and if you are new to Sharada’s work, we will contact you shortly to arrange a brief discovery call to ensure this retreat is aligned with your needs and that we can hold the space with care.
The purpose of the conversation is to explore whether this retreat is a supportive and aligned fit for you and your current journey. Due to the intimate nature of the retreat, creating a safe, grounded, and nourishing environment for all participants is essential to us, and this step helps ensure that we can truly hold that space with care and integrity.
WHAT WE EXPLORE
Through a tapestry of ancient wisdom and modern somatic science, we journey into:
- Embodiment & self-pleasure rituals: awakening safety and aliveness in the body.
- Somatic trauma-informed tools for nervous-system regulation and release.
- Vedic philosophy & chanting: revealing the oneness (moksha) that is our true nature.
- Tantric, Daoist, Egyptian & Shamanic practices: awakening sacred sensual intelligence.
- Psychodrama, dance & sacred theatre transforming drama and pain into dharma.
- Elemental rituals: fire, water, earth, and air as portals of remembrance.
- Community and tribe circles: restoring trust, admiration, and connection among women and vulva owners.
- Spa & purification rituals nurturing the body as a sacred vessel.
Each session is a ceremony, a living temple space devoted to authenticity rather than ideals. We meet what is present and allow life’s intelligence to guide us home to love.
THE INVITATION
If your heart whispers yes, you are ready.
This is not merely a retreat.
It is a pilgrimage home to yourself.
To your sacredness.
To your pleasure.
To your belonging.
To your wholeness.
“When we embrace Eros as medicine, we heal not only ourselves but the collective wound of humanity remembering that we have always been whole, that we have never been separate from love.”
Join us this summer at Shambala Gatherings in Sweden, a sanctuary of remembrance, devotion, and liberation.
WHY THIS GATHERINGS MATTERS NOW
To live as a woman today often means living under constant pressure.
Pressure to perform, to compare, to look a certain way, to keep up.
Pressure to be available, productive, radiant, and regulated, even when we are tired, overwhelmed, or quietly empty.
Many women live primarily in the mind, planning, organizing, holding others, caring for families, communities, and visions.
In this rhythm, we slowly lose contact with the body.
We stop hearing its signals.
We forget how to rest deeply, how to slow down, how to feel what is actually moving within us.
There is a profound longing beneath the fatigue.
A longing for stillness, for listening, for a space where nothing is required and everything is welcome.
Eros Medicine Journey offers such a sanctuary.
A time out of time.
A space where you are invited to soften, to land, and to return to yourself.
Here, we slow down enough to feel again.
To nourish ourselves through the elements of nature, earth, water, fire, and air.
To reconnect through presence, self care, gentle self touch, breath, sound, and rest.
And perhaps most importantly, we gather in sisterhood.
Through story sharing and witnessing, we remember what women have always known.
That healing happens when we speak our truth and are met without fixing.
That we grow through stories, shared in circles, held in tenderness, grief, laughter, and celebration.
In this space, you are seen.
You are heard.
You are held.
So that you may return to the world more nourished, more resourced, and more alive.
Not giving from depletion, but from fullness.
THE LIVING MYSTERY OF THIS JOURNEY
This journey unfolds in response to those who gather.
Each group carries its own constellation, its own rhythm, its own needs.
The practices, rituals, and elemental offerings are shaped by what is present in the field.
If fire is needed, we bring fire.
If softness and gentleness are called for, we slow down.
If grief arises, it is held.
If joy wants to move, it is welcomed.
Rather than following a fixed structure, the retreat meets participants where they are.
Listening deeply to what is alive, spoken and unspoken.
In this way, each Eros Medicine Journey becomes a living mystery.
Unique, responsive, and guided by presence, intuition, and compassion.
REFLECTIONS FROM PREVIOUS PARTICIPANTS
“Shāradā Devī is a real Teacher, such a rarity these days. She is deeply knowledgeable, kind and honest. She teaches from her heart and she humbly guides you to tap into your own divine self, at whatever stage of your personal journey you may be. She is living her truth and that shines bright through her work, “like a thousand suns”. If you are on the fence of joining one of her retreats or one of her online courses… DO IT! Take the leap! I guarantee you it will be one of the best and most precious gifts you will ever give yourself.”
“So, about two weeks ago, I came home from Sharada’s Sacred Sexuality Retreat, and I feel so blessed that I was there.
It was Sharada who really knows how to hold a safe and whole container, and all she wants is for every woman to shine.
It was so beautiful to witness all the courage, the vulnerability, the pleasure, the love, the sisterhood, and to be part of that, to experience it for myself too.
As I was driving home, I felt new. In many ways, it was like a rebirth. I felt my purpose, why I’m here, what I’m here to do, share, and give to the world. It all deepened so much. I’m forever grateful for that.
The way Sharada weaves embodiment work with Advaita Vedanta, Puja, and sacred rituals creates something truly powerful.
So this is my warmest thank you and heartfelt recommendation. I would encourage every woman to experience something like this, to take the steps to fully embody the goddess you already are, and to step into more pleasure and love for yourself, your body, your sisters, and everything that she holds in the sacred space she so beautifully provides.”
“I just finished two retreats with Sharada, her sacred sexuality retreat. I love the variety of women who came here. It’s really been a journey to witness myself in these different groups of women—how you think you are going through one thing, and then you reveal all these different colors of yourself. That wouldn’t be possible if Sharada wasn’t so safe and shared that safe space with all of us.
It’s been a very giving experience. I celebrate my pleasure. I celebrate being courageous to show vulnerability in big groups of women, and also to recognize judgment and burn them all into the fire.
So thank you, Sharada, and thank you to all the women who gathered. It’s been such a joy and pleasure, and I admire all of you.”
I just joined Sharada’s retreat here in Sweden, these gatherings, and it was an experience that I can hardly put into words.
Many moments came where I was just flowing in certain realms, almost. It was life-changing, actually. We did many practices from Dao Tantra, Dao tradition, that really, really deeply empower women in their essence—in their wombs, their hearts, their breasts. Everything gets stimulated, and you can really let go of what does not belong to you, what you want to transform, and dive deeper into your being.
That was absolutely wonderful to experience. The first day I was really in my more emotional waters—crying, releasing a lot, shedding layers of what does not belong to me. Then it went more and more into this ecstatic, blissful feeling, where I found my power, where I found my sexual energy, where my Shakti was so active. All the women came together, and we shared those powers in the circle, with words but also silence, and that was magic.
Thank you so much, Sharada Devi, for that wonderful experience.
I take many things with me that I cannot voice. It is so subtle that I cannot fully say what happened during those days, because I am still integrating everything and tuning into my body and my mind again. But if I have one key message, it is rising, shining, empowerment—feeling into the waters of emotions, going deeper, sharing with other women, sacred women circles, wisdom, ancient ancestors wanting to come through me, prayers, lots of prayers to the Vedic goddesses.
Ritualizing every day—when I put away the flowers, I do a little ritual; when I eat my food, I say prayers to everything around me. My life becomes sacred, a sacred mirror—me as a woman in this world—sharing my gifts and natural talents with others. And here I am.

TEACHER’S BIO
Shāradā Devī
Vedanta and Sacred Sexuality Teacher, Ceremonialist, Founder of Devi School and Born to be Free Podcast
“All you need is to know that you are whole and complete, and that no experience ever defines you.”
— My teacher of Vedānta
At eighteen, I was told that I would never have a normal life and that I would need medication forever.
What was called psychosis became, in truth, a spiritual awakening, a doorway into the mystery of who I truly am.
Those words that were meant to confine me instead lit a fire for freedom.
Born to a Swiss and Philippine heritage, I carry the bridge between cultures within me. The analytical and the devotional, the mountain and the sea.
This dual root has become a living metaphor for my work: to unite East and West, ancient and modern, heaven and earth, body and soul.
From Switzerland to Venezuela, India, and Bali, I walked the path of yoga, service, and temple dance until I met my teacher of Vedānta, who came from a un interrupted teaching tradition that revealed that the Self is like gold, unchanging and ever-pure,
while life’s experiences are merely the ornaments shaped from it.
The forms may differ, yet the essence is one.
For more than seventeen years, I have been a devoted student of Vedic wisdom, chanting, ritual, and meditation listening to
Mother Veda and resting in the vision of oneness.
The path of embodiment invited me to meet all that I had hidden: childhood wounds, sexual trauma,
the sister wound, and the ache of separation from my own body.
Through Ayurveda, Tantra, somatic healing, and women’s mentorship, I learned to feel safe within myself,
to honour the body I once rejected, and to transform shame into celebration.
Today, I share what has healed me, guiding people and especially women to remember their inherent wholeness, reclaim their sacred erotic power,
and live as love itself.
My work is a bridge between the timeless wisdom of Vedānta and the living body
where Eros, devotion, and truth become one.
“You are the gold shining through all ornaments untouched by form, yet giving life to all. You have always been whole.”
