We invite you to join us in the magical forest land of Sweden for an initiatory journey exploring the vast landscape of the Feminine.
She is calling you to return back home within yourself, to attune to her cycle of life/death/rebirth, to awaken to her dance, to remember her drumbeat and to receive her whisperings of secrets long forgotten.

Join us in evoking that part of us that has been kept hidden for too long. She is ready to emerge, in her wildness, in her wholeness, in her untamed nature and in her freedom. She is soft, tender, fierce and powerful. She is walking barefooted and full breasted, in her flow and in her repose. Guided by her intuition and the unseen ones, her sensitivity is her superpower. She is both witch and virgin, crown and maiden, mother and lover. She is both the well and the spring, she births herself and all of life out of herself, she is infinite creativity, she is the deepest mystery.
We will submerge ourselves into the vessel of our body as the sacred map of our belonging. We will dance and move and let our bodies express her deepest longings . We will explore our cyclical nature embracing all of our inner seasons, we will gather in ritual as the wise women of all ages have, attuning to the deep knowing of our wombs and hearts, tasting the sweetness of life and freedom in its full spectrum, expanding our range to welcome all of our shadows. It will be a time for silence, for contemplation, for journeying into the hidden depths, for medicine making, for celebration and for sharing.

LOCATION
The location itself is breathtaking and raw and wild. Outside of practices we spend our time in the sauna (clothing optional – the Scandinavian way) and immersing ourselves in nature, jumping in the cold lake, gathering around the bonfire, canoeing, reading, journalling or going for long walks in the mystical forest.
Shambala Gatherings is a simple and stunning retreat host, set on the most beautiful private misty lake, with a floating sauna, an onsite library and their own sense deprivation floatation tank for deep release. They serve the most gorgeous vegan meals, and Johan the founder shares the sweetest evenings of kirtan and devotional singing. There is a group of volunteers that live on the land and help the management run everything behind the scenes of retreats, and this gives Shambala a real sense of community living that always feel very special to drop into.
There is really something magical about this place. With its wild and simple and raw beauty it invites a deep surrender like no other.
“There is a potency that is activated when we come together as Women. An ancient knowing is stirred. Rikke and the other facilitators’ holding into the timeless mysteries of the Feminine is one of humility, fierce tenderness and grace. They create a safe and sacred space for women to delve into their inner realms. A space to be with our bodies and remember our sense of belonging to the Earth body and within the larger web of Life. A space to rekindle the Fire of our Ancestors and deepen our connection with the ancient wisdom of our Wombs. Rikke does not pretend to be more evolved, instead she sits on the Earth amongst women, reminding them that the wisdom she shares is already within each and every one of us.”
“Being a part of this women’s retreat has been a magical and extraordinary experience. Rikke created a profound space that allowed me to reconnect with my nature, release old ancestral wounds and be open for a new connection with truth and life! This retreat was wild, soft, tender, and a space where a woman can get in touch with all the women inside of her! Thank you again for this experience… You created space inside of me to feel awakened and to create new tools for my path! I feel changed and truly connected to myself even if it is difficult sometimes..”

The days will be full and the work will go deep.
The journey will be an elemental initiation and inquiry into our origin and birth mysteries, ancestral wounds and wisdom, the stories that have shaped us, the invisible forces that move us, and the eros and sensuality that is our aliveness and life-force as the embodied feminine. The work will include talks and explorations into blood mysteries, fire and ancestry rituals, grief tending, deep circle sharing, embodiment, free dance and celebration, herbal magic and medicine making to remember our wise woman ways, and more.
It will be a time for you to let yourself be seen and held by the power of the Feminine within each Woman.

“WOW! I’m still trying to find the words that really encapsulate the full experience. It was raw, emotional, profound, joyous, exhausting, fun, warm… and so much more!! I feel reawakened – It was the reset button my soul was crying out for. There really is so much beauty in the world and I was reminded that again and again during our time together. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤ “
“Rikke creates a space that is very safe, sacred, and wild. At Mysteries of the Feminine retreat, I experienced the kind of deep and present holding that really allowed me to slow down, listen to myself and my own truth, and to take in nourishment for the places within that needed it most. As a facilitator, Rikke brought grounded, tender, exquisite wisdom and attunement to the group, as well as so much permission to show up as ourselves, in our fullness. The impacts have been profound and have continued to trickle in even days, weeks, months after the retreat. I am beyond grateful to have shown up and received so much–thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m feeling the reverberations throughout much of Life.”

Drum making ceremony & medicine pouch crafting
Dorrie Joy is an artist, herbalist & keeper of traditional crafts & altars. She holds workshop journeys as sacred spaces that centre creativity as an intentional practice of connection & belonging.
She has been drum making for 30 years, using ancient and traditional methods for preparing all materials by hand. In these years she has been initiated by and trained intimately with Indigenous women and Elders in many areas of ancient craft and ceremony. All her drum making materials are ethically & locally sourced with integrity & care. This is reflected in the cost of the workshop, which will last a full day, creating uniquely personal drums that are soul vessels of heart resonance.
You can find out more about Dorrie & her work on her website or Dorrie Joy across social media.
All of her work is in service of awakening to our deepest and most loving nature, to remembering our interconnectedness, to opening ourselves to the invisible mystery that has birthed us and to practicing right relationship with all that is.

massages, guidance, energy healing, womb healing
Beatriz M Pinet is a deep medicine woman, energy healer and intuitive guide. Like a true curandera she acts as a bridge between the realms, between the spirit world and the very embodied physical human felt experience. For decades she has lived amongst and been initiated by Mayan elders into their ancient healing modalities of Sobada Maya and other massage techniques, along with many other psychosomatic healing arts rooted in ancient indigenous earth based understandings.
Beatriz asked me to write about her, and so the above is my small attempt to summarise her work which is truly very profound. I can say from my own experience that I have never had hands on my body that could feel and intuitively see so clearly the roots of my knots and pains, spiritually, not just physically, and is able to release these contractions through all the realms.

Meditation, embodiment, dance, ritual, talks and workshops
Her teachings and experiential laboratories are invitations into unknowing, into holding the questions that move us as holy and whole, they are gateways into the sanctuary of the deepest place within us, that which is eternal and unbroken yet can hold all of our contradictions and brokenness and the paradox which divides us. For this is the way of feminine mysticism, the descent down into our body and deep into life itself to discover the source that births all of life, and to practise living in intimacy with this Mystery.
