TEACHER’S BIO

INEZ ALMEIDA
Inez (aka Clap Your Wings) is a certified Acroyoga teacher from Acroyoga International and Acroyoga Montreal and has been teaching classes, workshops and retreats extensively over the past 10 years in several different countries and communities. Her love for movement and her background in dance and partner acrobatics brought her into an exploration of new possibilities within acroyoga language and vision. Inez is also a professional physical actress and theater director with a sharp eye for choreography and technique, and a delicate sensitivity for the necessary foundation needed to high risk movement : trust and soft connection.

PETER HUNTER
Peter is a viking acroyogi, yoga-teacher and physiotherapist with a big heart and an extensive movement background. He inspires and surprises with his diversity of thought and exercises, analyzing acroyoga with keen eyes yet keeping a pragmatic and creative approach to teaching and technique. He is a rock-solid base and keeps a not-so-secret dancer inside himself who loves to fly.

JULIE HENDEL
Julie (DK) is an all-round bad-ass flyer and base with a keen eye for details and a playful heart. Julie loves challenge herself and knows the process (and struggles!) of learning high-level acroyoga moves without any background as a gymnast. She is a caring and supportive teacher with a deep love for the fun and the courage of acroyoga. Privately, Julie is a mother, fashion designer and francophile.
Together, Julie and Peter are two passionate “Swiss-army knives” of acroyoga with a broad, all-flavour practice: Hybrid in flows and standing, specialized in whips, pops. They are grounded, fun-loving and love to train hard – but only for the love.
