“We invite you to join us in Sweden exploring yourself, curiously.  The classes will be artful journeys into the student’s own interior; full of soul power and the high of opening channels and breaking through barriers.”

“Fine tune your asana and connect with your inner warrior as we push our practise to new highs through powerful play.”

Two 90 minute practises daily will take you on a journey to the self, through the self. You can expect Sarah’s classes to be taught as a workshop style, combining yoga conditioning exercises, partner work and detailed break downs of postures to explore them more deeply. Later Rikke takes over to bridge these aspects back together fluidly helping students to return home in their own body, to get anchored in the root of their heart and to amplify their creative field through breath, awareness and movement.

Each day you’ll enjoy two 90-minute yoga classes and three gluten free, vegan meals from the Shala kitchen.

There is no shortage of things to do during times off: sauna, dip in the lake, canoeing, beautiful long walks, horse riding, massages and reading from the on-site library.

Sarah Linsday

Sarah Lindsay has accumulated over 1000 training hours and 3000 teaching hours since she began teaching in 2013.  Her dynamic flow sequences have elements of her teachers David Swenson and Stewart Gilchrist, whom she still works closely with, woven within their foundations.

Sarahs concept SALA is built on the ethos that Yoga is For Every Body not just the flexible or experienced student. This is affirmed throughout her classes which are strongly assisted both verbally and physically,  encouraging practitioners of any background to experiences postures in a much deeper and joyful way. You can expect a strong emphasis on safe alignment, partner work, firm physical adjustments and lots of sweating. Sarah now teaches full time around homes and offices around London with four open classes a week open to the public.

Sarahs sequences will stretch and strengthen your body and mind simultaneously without the dogma. Yoga for Every Body.

A former ballet dancer from Norway, Rikke moved to London to pursue her passion for theatre and filmmaking, and to immerse herself in the urban art scene. This journey led her to Yoga, a platform where she found a strong creative stimulus whilst working on a deep spiritual level. Her teacher training in Yoga and shamanism took her to the mountains of Sacred Valley, Peru, and since then her studies have taken her on the path of Anusara Inspired Yoga and Tantrik philosophy.

Rikke offers teachings that are rooted from her soul, with deep focus on bridging the gap between our yoga practice and the ‘real’ world; she has through her own personal experience become very skilled in helping her students to return home in their own body, to get anchored in the root of their heart and to amplify their creative field through breath, awareness and movement.
